alternative

The PageShare alternative for agencies with regular clients.

PageShare is a good private link. Client work is a relationship, not a link. PageShare keeps AI-made pages private, with passwords, email checks and scroll analytics from $9 a month. Stacktree is built around the client: a named link per person, who opened it and how closely they read, comments and sign-off, and one portal that holds everything you have sent them.

What is the best PageShare alternative?

Stacktree, when the same clients get work from you every month. PageShare and Stacktree both keep AI-made pages private, with passwords and email checks. Stacktree adds a named link per person, reading time by name, comments and sign-off on the page, and a client space that collects every deliverable behind one passcode on your domain.

What PageShare does well

PageShare.ai shares generated HTML pages. Upload a page or a zip, or publish from its ChatGPT app or its Claude MCP server, and the page starts private. You can add a password or invite people, and Premium adds email validation, domain allowlists and your own domain per page. Its analytics are genuinely useful: visits on Free, and location, scroll depth, active time and clicks on Premium. At $9 a month it is half the price of Stacktree Solo.

Where Stacktree differs

  • Reading data with a name on it. Give each person their own link and every open comes back as theirs: “Read by Maya Cole · 24 min over 8 visits”, with your own previews left out. PageShare’s page describes visits, not named readers.
  • Comments and sign-off on the page. The client comments in context, and approves the page itself, so the record of who said yes to which version stays with the work. Neither is documented on PageShare’s page.
  • One place per client. A client space gives each client one address on your domain that lists everything you have sent, newest first, behind one passcode they enter once. PageShare gives each page its own domain setting.
  • Their assistant can read it too. Every page has a Markdown twin, and you can let a client review a page with their own AI.

Where PageShare is the better choice

  • Price. $9 a month against $19 for Solo, with no forced expiry and your own domain on every page.
  • Scroll and click analytics on the cheaper plan. Stacktree puts reading time and the attention heatmap on Studio, at $79. Solo shows opens and visits.

The free plans are close

Both free plans give three pages that last seven days, enough to send something real before you pay. Stacktree pages also stay up for 30 days after a reader’s latest visit, up to 90 days, so a page a client is still reading does not vanish mid-conversation. Stacktree includes a passcode on every free page.

FAQ

Frequent questions

What is PageShare? +
PageShare.ai shares generated HTML pages behind a private link. You upload a page or a zip, or publish from its ChatGPT app or Claude MCP server, then keep it private, add a password, or invite people. Premium adds email checks, domain allowlists, your own domain per page, and scroll depth and active time.
How much does PageShare cost? +
Free is $0 for up to 3 active pages that expire after 7 days, with public or password links and a PageShare badge. Premium is $9 a month for unlimited pages, no forced expiry, email checks and domain allowlists, deeper analytics, your own domain per page, and no badge.
PageShare or Stacktree for client work? +
PageShare if you want the cheapest private link with good analytics. Stacktree if you send a lot to the same clients: a named link per person so opens come back with their name, comments and sign-off on the page, and a client space that collects everything for one client behind one passcode.
Does PageShare show who opened a page? +
Its page describes visit-level analytics on Free, and on Premium location, scroll depth, active time and clicks. It does not say whether a visit is tied to a named person. Stacktree gives each person their own link, so every open and its reading time come back with that name.
Can I move from PageShare to Stacktree? +
Yes. Re-publish the HTML through the dashboard, the API, or the Stacktree connector in Claude or ChatGPT, then point your domain at Stacktree from Solo. You gain named links, comments, sign-off and client spaces; you pay $19 a month rather than $9.
